THE KEE TO BALA
They originally came to Dunn's Pavilion to see the Big Bands, and today they're still coming to The Kee To Bala. Sure, the music has changed, but so has everything else in the world - it's called life. And life continues. Just like the hall that Gerry built continues.
MUSIC ON THE BARGE
"Barge" concerts are a time honored tradition dating back to 1959. Prior to 1959, the roots of this tradition had been established at the band shell located at the Gull Lake site. The present, permanent structure was completed just in time for Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip to attend its' official opening concert on July 4th, 1959. Today, the sounds emerging from "Music on the Barge" range from the big band sound, to Dixieland, jazz, folk, the music on the 50's and 60's and today's country.
